OTHER BIBLE VERSES

Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in; who brings princes to nought, and makes the rulers of the earth as nothing. ~Isaiah 40:21-23

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And before him no creature is hidden, but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of him with whom we have to do. --Hebrews 4:12-13

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you
will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.
Is not life more important than food, and the body more
important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they
do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your
heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable
than they?"   - Matthew 6:25-26

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal
life to which you were called when you made your good
confession in the presence of many witnesses.
   -1 Timothy 6:12-

Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you
will be wise. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is
the LORD's purpose that prevails.
     -Proverbs 19:20-21-

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and
admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing
psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your
hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed,
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to
God the Father through him.
       -Colossians 3:16-17-

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up
anger. The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the
mouth of the fool gushes folly.
   - Proverbs 15:1-2-
